Zacks Lie

This book is a dystopian novel because almost everything he does in the story isn’t good. Like the setting and all of his family problems. The way his dad has to leave and go and put his family into the witness protection program. They had to move to a small town and become unknown when the guy comes and break into Jack Osborn’s house.  The guy comes and breaks into their house because he is looking for his Jack’s dad. This book should be recommended to every young reader to read. I liked it I kept in reading some more of Rowland Smith’s books. They are filled with exciting and fun filled things and adventures.

This book examples of allegory are like in the book the Three Little Pigs a piece of allegory in it wolf blows down the house it stood to me for as like a tornado some people don’t actually know that.Zack’s Lie doesn’t have any allegory. Allegory- a story that symbolizes something else. Even though the story Zack’s Lie has a lot of allegory I chose this idea. This book is allegory because its not exactly what would happen in like real life. It could but its very rare. That is the only allegory that I could find and its actually a good one you will find out if you ever read the book its like the only allegory in it. I actually read he book twice and its amazing.

The book Zack’s Lie is and dystopia book. It is a dystopian book because of the life he lives is no where near perfect it’s the total opposite. A dystopian society is an imaginary place where everything is as bad as it can be. This book has a dystopian society because Jack Osborn has to change his name to Zack. He has to change it to that because some guy broke into the Osborn’s house looking for his dad. So his dad had put them into the Witness Protection Program. Jack has to go to another school meet new friends and leave his old friends behind.
Zack’s Lie doesn’t have any satire. It’s still the best book I have read and I like the book a lot. In the book The Three Little Pigs something that could be satirized is the wolf in the story usually blows down houses. Satire in that case could be instead of him blowing down their houses the pigs blow down his house. So that the wolf would have to go live with his mom or someone in his family. The book has no satire in it. It’s still the best book I have read. I like books and movies that have satire in it but I like this book also.
